Yes, it would work - however there is no voltage cutoff in the starter box, so you'd need to be vigilant to ensure you didn't drop the voltage on your batteries too low.

Yes, it's universal so could be setup for either (however you would struggle to set it up for both at the same time).
Note, for larger engines like the Trophy you'd be better with a beefier box such as FAST555
